The naked city saw a nude model busted in Times Square Tuesday - with nothing on but a few swirls of body paint.
Zoe West, 21, who was being painted by artist Andy Golub, was hauled by cops to a midtown precinct house once she bared her buff body to a shocked matinee crowd at the pedestrian plaza at 44th St. and Broadway.
"It was wild," said the Ulster County actress, who shed an olive onesie and black G-string to be painted in public for 2-1/2 hours. "I walked into the precinct, and there were about six cops standing behind the counter. Everyone went, 'Whoa! What's this?'"
After an hour in unclothed custody, West was released without charges.
Golub, a Rockland County artist who has pulled off similar stunts before around Manhattan and Brooklyn, was not arrested.
"New York State Law prohibits public nudity, except if it's part of a play, performance, exhibition or show," said Ron Kuby, Golub and West's lawyer.
"This particular sergeant who arrested Ms. West didn't get the memo - or simply didn't care."

Onyango Obama a half-brother of President Obama's father Arrested for DUI in Massachusetts
A relative of President Barack Obama was arrested last week outside Boston on charges of drunk driving, a spokesman for his lawyer said on Monday.
Onyango Obama, 67, of Framingham, Massachusetts, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to yield at an intersection and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, said Cara O'Brien, a spokeswoman for the Middlesex District Attorney's office.
Onyango Obama is a half-brother of President Obama's father, an administration official confirmed.
Onyango Obama pleaded not guilty on Thursday in Framingham District Court and was released on personal recognizance, O'Brien said, but he was being held on a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer.
He hired Ohio immigration attorney Margaret Wong, the same lawyer used by his younger sister, Zeituni Onyango, said Wong spokesman Mike Rogers.
Zeituni Onyango was granted asylum last year by a Boston judge, putting the Kenyan woman on the path to citizenship.
Rogers said Onyango Obama was released from a Massachusetts jail on Monday and was being supervised at an undisclosed location until reporting back to immigration officials on Tuesday.

Former first lady Nancy Reagan is said to be doing fine after stumbling as she was escorted into an event at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley.
KNBC-TV video shows the 90-year-old Reagan walking into the room on the arm of Florida Senator Marco Rubio Tuesday night when she apparently lost her balance. The crowd can be heard gasping as Rubio catches her before she falls to the floor. Several people in the crowd then swarm her, and Rubio and the others help her get to her seat.

•"Spy Kids 4" actress Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren were pleased to announce that they've added another girl to their brood. "Cash and I are so excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Haven Garner Warren. She was born on Saturday, weighed 7lbs, and was 19 inches long. Healthy and happy!" Alba wrote on her Facebook page, adding, "Big Sister Honor couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to our family."
•Former Disney darling Hilary Duff not only celebrated her first wedding anniversary with husband Mike Comrie on Sunday, but she took to her official website to make a special announcement. “We also want to share the exciting news that… BABY MAKES THREE!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives," she wrote.
•It was a busy wedding weekend as well. "The View" co-host Joy Behar shocked everyone on August 11 when she tied the knot to longtime love Steve Janowitz in New York after a whopping 29 years together.
•Brooke Burke married former "Baywatch" star David Charvet in St. Barts on August 12. The "Dancing With The Stars" co-host and Charvet have been together since 2005 and engaged since 2006. They have two children together, and Burke has two children from a previous marriage.
•Just two days after Behar's nuptials,"The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd walked down the aisle and married fiance Lamar Sally in Chicago on August 13. The couple had been engaged since December.
•Last, but not least, "American Reunion" actress Tara Reid got engaged -- and married -- in Greece over the weekend, all in just a matter of hours. Thirty Americans and eight Afghans were killed last Saturday when a rocket-propelled grenade fired by a Taliban insurgent downed their Chinook helicopter en route to a combat mission.
The Pentagon on Thursday identified the Americans as 17 members of the elite Navy SEALs, five Naval Special Warfare personnel who support the SEALs, three Air Force Special Operations personnel and an Army helicopter crew of five.
All but two of the SEALs were from SEAL Team 6, the unit that killed Osama bin Laden, although military officials said none of the crash victims was on that mission in Pakistan against the al-Qaida leader.
