First Boeing 787 Dreamliner Delivered After Three-Year Delay
After three years of delays, Boeing has delivered the first 787 Dreamliner to Japan's All Nippon Airways. The Japanese airline will fly the plane on the Tokyo to Okayama-Hiroshima route starting Nov. 11.
The first international route will be between Tokyo and Frankfurt, Germany, starting in January.
The first American airline to receive 787 Dreamliners will be United Continental Holdings, which will fly the airliner on the Houston to Auckland, New Zealand, and Houston to Lagos, Nigeria, routes.
